When a control is fully clockwise, the corresponding band is set to 0 dB (no cut or boost).<br \/>\nThe <strong>CRANK<\/strong> knob controls the amount of gain. As it is turned up, the tone moves from a punchy overdrive to a thick, saturated distortion.<br \/>\nThe <strong>LEVEL<\/strong> knob controls the overall output level of the pedal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spectral Rectifier : <\/strong>at the heart of the Gh\u00f6\u00f6st lies a rectification stage that can operate in either half-wave or full-wave mode.<br \/>\nThe <strong>Half-wave rectification<\/strong>, delivers a more open and dynamic overdriven sound, retaining the nuances of your playing. <strong>Full-wave rectification<\/strong>, produces a denser texture and a richer harmonic structure, resulting in a spectral, almost metallic voice<strong>. The guitar\u2019s volume and tone controls also have a direct influence on this behaviour, allowing you to further shape and refine the character of the sound.<\/p>\n<p>The Gh\u00f6\u00f6st includes an<strong> alternate operating mode <\/strong>known as <strong>Purple Shift<\/strong>. Press and hold both footswitches to engage it, the right LED will change to purple to indicate that the mode is active.
