I live in a very hot climate, how do I adjust the BIAS LED threshold on the Mark 1?
- Unplug both the input and output jacks, but keep the power supply connected.
- Set the potentiometer to the position where you want the LED to light up.
- Turn the pedal on.
- Open the back of the pedal using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Using a small flathead screwdriver, adjust the blue trimmer until the LED lights up at the desired point.
- Close the back of the pedal. Done.
What are the internal trimmers in the Deitsch Angle for?
The first trimmer adjusts the “centering” of the LFO oscillation within the frequency spectrum, while the second trimmer controls the amplitude of the oscillations.
As these settings are quite difficult to adjust by ear, it is recommended not to alter the factory calibration.
Is my pedal under warranty?
Deitsch pedals are covered by a 3-year warranty for the original owner.
This warranty covers both manufacturing defects and failures occurring under normal use. In such cases, please contact me via the contact email.
You will then simply need to return the pedal, and I will take care of the rest.
If you notice a defect within one month of purchase, a return shipping label will be provided.
The warranty does not cover the following cases:
- Improper power supply (over-voltage or reverse polarity)
- Normal cosmetic wear resulting from use
- Modifications made to the pedal
- Mechanical damage (drops, crushing by heavy objects)
